Q. I want my puppy to drink from a water bottle that I'm going to hang from its carrier. I've heard that this can prevent eye staining with a maltese and some people swear by it. How can it be done? How anyone had success getting their dog to drink like this?
A. at a dog day care place i worked at we used these to prevent spilling of the water so they always had some. Most dogs picked it up easily we just had to show them where it was. We started by bring the water bottle to their mouth and then pushing on the end so water comes out, the dog eventually licks the bottle and figures it out in seconds.
