Do animal shelters or vet's offices get paid for the euthanized pets that are picked up by dead stock removal companies to go to rendering plants, or do they have to pay the dead stock removal company for their services? A. Very few use the services anymore (and no, they pay to have the animals picked up, not the other way around). Most vets contract with crematoriums and have to pay a fee for the bodies to be taken away and cremated. Our animal control and the local shelters all use crematoriums in our city.

A. You are in luck the USA is on the approved list so your kitty won't sit in a quarantine cage costing you $ for 6 months. But it will cost you. How much is up to the airline you take the kitty on (please, please, please don't allow the cat to go into cargo. many die down there), and the cost of the appropiate shots, chipping & so forth.
