Q. I am a person who sometimes likes to give my dog 'human food' to eat, like cooked chicken/meat, a few french fries, crackers, half of whatever I'm eating. What foods can seriously harm dogs or make them sick? I heard that dairy products can make a dog sick or worse!
A. milk will give them the runs as well as spicy food. brown or dark chocolate will kill them. only chocolate dogs can have is white.you can give them people food. but it's not good for them in the long run. it could shorten there life span. just think what the french fries are doing to your heart. now think what it's doing to rovers.
Getting rid of bugs without make my dogs sick?

Get Fronline or Advantix from your Vet or Pet specialty Supplier (ie:PetSmart)
apply once a month between the dogs' shoulder blades.
This will protect them from most anything (bug wize)
Perhaps, you have moist house plants ( or standing water in the dishes ) underneath them? This may be the source of little black flying gnats.
Empty trays after 10 min. & let your houseplants dry out between waterings.
This will prevent soil gnats.

A. Chocolate contains theobromine, a compound that is a cardiac stimulant and a diuretic. When affected by an overdose of chocolate, a dog can become excited and hyperactive. Due to the diuretic effect, it may pass large volumes of urine and it will be unusually thirsty. Vomiting and diarrhea are also common. The effect of theobromine on the heart is the most dangerous effect. Theobromine will either increase the dog�s heart rate or may cause the heart to beat irregularly. Death is quite possible, especially with exercise. Symptoms of chocolate poisoning include: vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, hyperactivity, irregular heartbeat and seizures.
Larger quantities of chocolate can poison or even kill a medium or large dog. An ounce or two of chocolate may not seem like much but it can be lethal to a small dog that weighs 10 lbs. or less. After their dog has eaten a large quantity of chocolate, many pet owners assume their pet is unaffected. However, the signs of sickness may not be seen for several hours, with death following within twenty-four hours.

why is Walmart selling Chinese made dog treats that make dogs sick?
Q. I just received information that Chicken Jerky from China that Walmart sells is making dogs sick......"ethics"? Does walmart need the money so bad they are selling chinese poisons at their stores? This is despicable!
A. It sells. Simple as that. There are tons more yahoo's out there that have no idea and snap them up for their poochies. Sad, hugh?
