What will happen to a dog if it eats aluminum foil?

Q. Will it make the dog sick or kill it?

A. It could cause tears in the throat or stomach or it could cause blockages in the intestines.

If your dog did this, take him/her to the vet.

what the best cleaner for linoleum floors?
Q. whats the best stfuuf you can get at a local dept. store to clean linoleum floors? I need something good to condition the floor, and something that doesnt have bleach in it! Bleach is know to make dogs sick, and it did mine!
Any help appreciated!

A. I like Brite because it is non-toxic to pets, leaves a wonderful shine and won't build up and takes a lot of abuse while protecting the surface. I also use just plain old white vinegar, but the doggies HATE that smell while Brite has no smell whatsoever.

Is it possible for a cat to make a dog sick?
Q. A friend of mine brought her puppy over here 2 weeks ago to play with my dog and I shut my cat up in the other room. Her puppy got sick last week and she says it's because she was around my cat, which doesn't make any sense to me. My cat is up on all of his shots as well as my dog and my cat hasn't made my dog sick. She said dogs can get sick from breathing the same air as cats. Can anyone please let me know if any of this is true?

A. Puppies are sensitive when it comes to their health. Anything in your house could've caused a reaction, so could anything outside, between her house and yours.

I highly doubt your cat is the reason behind it.

We all know that a dog gets sick when it eats chocolate. But does it affect the dogs behavior?
Q. And while I'm on the subject, what other foods have the ability to make a dog sick?

A. From what I've seen (my dog once ate a whole bag of mini snickers bars) the most common side effects from dogs eating chocolate are: lethargic, having the runs, drinking excess water, sometimes vomiting and hyperactive (it can differ depending on the dog).
As for other foods, it all depends on the dog. I've come across dogs that could eat any and every type of people food without getting sick and other dogs that couldn't handle any type of people foods. The only food that my vet has ever cautioned about has been chocolate.
