How do you get pet urine smell out of a bed?

Q. I bought special cleaners from pet smart just made for urine and that did not work then I fabrezzed it. Still no luck it has been 4 days an my mattress still smells. My dog was sick and on medication which I think might have altered the urine make up since the special emnzyne stuff did not work. it is a pillow to so I don't know what to do. I won't have money for a new mattress for at least to months since I started a new job and the dogs medication is pricey.

A. Get some carpet cleaner, oxy clean, and scorching hot water. Get maybe a bucket, and mix about oh maybe 1/3 capet cleaner, 1/2-1 full scoop of oxy clean, and just fill the rest up with hot water. If you can, get the mattress off of your bed and scrub it on the wherever your dog urinated and then try to dab the excess water off the top of the surface. Let it just sit and dry. Try repeating a couple of times during the week.

Trust me I've had both of my dogs urinate on my bed ( ah and one of 'em's a male so he marks his territory and stuff *gag*) and it smells like the pits of Hell itself probably, but I've tried the method above and it can help sometimes.

Good Luck.

And hey if that doesn't work then maybe get a used matteress or try borrowing one from somebody.

How to tell someone that their Dad is dying?
Q. 2 months ago my dad was diagnosed with Lung cancer, and we went to london to seek medical treatment. untill now, all we got is that his condition is so serious, and he'll die because of the cancer.

everyone in my family knew about the condition, just my 27 yeard old sister (his Daughter). the problem is that she's diabetic, and if she got depressed, she will have a poisonous substance in her blood, and she'll need to stay in the hospital to take 3 bags of some kind of iv, or a drip.. im not sure what is it.. to clear her blood.

she's so emotional, she could cry for an hour if she just saw a sick dog.

when we first left to london, she thought he was going to treat some kind of back pain, not cancer. now i dont know what to do.

A. I feel for you, I really do, and I'm so sorry about your dad. I lost my dad to lung cancer. Not sure I understand the part about your sister's diabetes. I'm diabetic, but your sister must have some other illness as well, that causes the poison substances to go in her blood. All I can suggest is to have a word with her doctor and ask their advice about what to do after you have told your sister about your dad. There's no easy way to give anyone bad news, but it's best the doctor knows the situation in advance and will hopefully help you to tell your sister. My dad was being treated for a virus, went into hospital for further tests and when my brother brought him home, my brother called me out the back. He said : "It's like this, our dad has cancer, he's dying". Tact was never one of his stronger points. I lost my dad 3 weeks later. It must be so hard for you, trying to come to terms with losing your dad and being worried about your sister at the same time. I wish I could give you some magic words. I can guarantee that everyone who answers your question, sincerely, will be thinking about you and wishing you all the luck in the world. Take care......EVIL TROLL IS REPORTED

what can I do for my poor dog?
Q. This week my girlfriend and I broke up, my old sick dog had to be put down and me and my remaining dog are moving out of state. My dog is so depressed. I just don't know what to do for her. The dog that had to be put down had been with her for all five years of her life. My girlfriend had been with us for two years. She has lost everything but me. Her home, her best friend and her other mom are all gone.

A. Dogs do have feelings! They love companionship. In my opinion, a dog should never be alone.

How do you check a dog for fever?
Q. I HAVE A DOG WHO SHOULD GIVE BIRTH ANY WK. NOW THIS IS THE FIRST TIME FOR ME.I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO. WHEN WILL SHE HAVE THEM? SHE HAS BEEN RESTLESS FOR ABOUT A WK. NOW AND WON'T EAT HARDLY,AND WINES SOMETIMES

A. Up the bum...lol, I know.... that sounds pretty sick but it's true. Stick it up her bum. You'll get a true reading. If you have an ear thermometer, you could try that... not sure if it will be 100% though. Good luck. Give those puppies a big kiss for me!
