Can you show a dog in Conformation that's been spayed?

Q. I think I want to show my puppy when she grows up. I also want to avoid the problems with an intact female. If I spay the puppy, will she be able to participate in shows?
I don't plan to breed her.

A. there's lots of events you can display your puppy in besides akc dog shows.

mammary tumor is the #1 tumor in dogs not spayed, if you spay her at or before 6 months, she'll have 100% chance of not getting mammary cancer.

I have a 3 yr male bulldog. I'm getting a 2 month old female. When is it okay to leave them unsupervised?
Q. I have a 3 year old english bull dog who is very friendly and does great with smaller dogs. I am getting a 2 moth old female bullie. He is neutered and I am planning on spaying the puppy as well. When can I be sure that they will be okay to be unsupervised and alone together?

A. Same breed, opposite sex, he is neutered, they should be fine together. Your only problem will be the size difference but as you say he is a friendly fella. Just supervise play till she is a bit bigger.
THey are big dogs and not the over exuberent type, pretty sure they don't bolt around the yard at a 100 mile an hour being stupid like my Labs can at times.

Slowly introduce them, let him sniff her and do the welcome ritual that all dogs do.

Good luck and enjoy that new puppy!!

is it a good idea to fix a puppy at the age of 8 or 12 weeks?
Q. I've been wondering if six months old should be good to spay my puppy or at the age of 8 or 12 weeks old whats the best age for spaying?
when dose the cycle starts?

A. there is some controversy about such early spaying & neutering - this has not been a common practice for long enough to be really sure if the few cases of problems that set in after a few years are unconnected or not ("spay" incontinence is not unknown with older dog spayed at maturity but may be much more common with pediatric spays). While I can't blame the rescues for doing so before pup leaves, for a pet dog I personally would prefer to wait till 5-6 months since until the first heat she can't get pregnant anyway

How can I prevent my dogs from eating/digging through the fence?
Q. I have 2 blue heelers. One is a puppy, the other is 3 years old. Both are spayed. The puppy is literally eating through the bottoms of our picket fence and bothering the neighbors. Not only do we have angry neighbors, but we are dealing with great expense constantly replacing the pickets. She is also digging HUGE holes in the yard. We spend a lot of time with them, and they have plenty of bones and chew toys. HELP

A. the problem is that you have 1 highly intelligent dogs and are not meeting their mental needs - you havent given them a job - so they are simply finding one of their own..
suppose you had a fence cemented to the ground so they couldnt dig.. well they would simply go nuts or find something else to do..

the ONLY solution is to meet their mental requirements .. they need mental stimulation

Obedience lessons are a MUST -and time to practice.. you could go futher with Agility as well.. they need more than an occassional walk or run and more than just a bone or toy...
(look for mental toys like cubes you put things in that they have to try to get out)..
but over all unless you address the problem you are never going to fix this.
